Every cake order, written down once.

No more scrolling back through a chat to find the flavour, or how the birthday girl spells her name. Customers fill in your order page and pay, and the whole order lands in one list.

Answer “do you do birthday cakes?” with a link.

Most of your orders start as a message. Keep replying where they ask, and send the cake’s order page instead of a price list.

  1. They ask what you can bake

Birthday on Saturday, twelve cupcakes for school, a loaf for Sunday. Same messages as always.

  2. You send the cake’s page

Size and flavour are options on the product. The message for the top is a box they type into.

  3. It comes back paid, spelled right

The order shows the name exactly as they typed it, with your pickup hours already in their email.

Regulars can bookmark your menu: littleovenbakes.e2c.store

The name on the cake, typed by the person who ordered it.

Add a box to the product for the message on top. The customer types it, checks it, and pays. You copy it off the order instead of squinting at a voice note.

  • Up to three boxes per product, like the cake message, allergies, or the age for the number candle.
  • Make the allergy box required and a cake can’t be ordered without an answer.
  • Saved word for word on the order and in the confirmation email.

Bake to a number, not a guess.

Set the stock to what you’ll bake this week. Every order takes one off, and when the buns are gone they show sold out. Next week, set a new number.

Your pickup days and hours are on every confirmation, so nobody turns up on a Tuesday.

$0 a month. 1.99% when you sell.

Nothing to pay in the weeks you’re not baking.

E2C for other sellers

Can customers type the message for the cake?

Yes. Add up to three custom fields to a product, such as "Message on cake" or "Allergies", and make any of them required. Answers are saved on the order and in the order email.

Can customers choose their pickup day?

Your pickup days and hours show at checkout and in the order confirmation. Customers can add a note with the day they want, and the note is saved on the order. There is no calendar for booking a time slot.

Can I limit how many orders I take each week?

Set the stock to what you can bake. When it sells out, the product shows sold out and can't be ordered until you raise the number for the next bake.

Do I need a food licence to sell on E2C?

E2C doesn't check food rules. Cottage food laws differ by state and province, so check what yours require before you sell from home.

What does it cost?

Nothing a month. E2C takes 1.99% of each sale. Card and PayPal payments also carry the processor's fee. Cash at pickup has no processor fee.
