E2C supports Stripe (credit and debit cards), PayPal, Interac e-Transfer (for Canadian sellers), and cash on pickup. You can enable any combination from your store settings.
When a buyer selects Interac at checkout, they see your Interac email address and the exact order total. They send the transfer through their bank, and once you receive it, you confirm the order from your E2C dashboard. The buyer is notified automatically.
Interac e-Transfer is available to Canadian sellers only, since Interac is a Canadian payment network. Sellers outside Canada should use Stripe or PayPal to accept online payments.
No. You choose which payment methods to enable for your store. You can offer just one, a few, or all of them — whatever makes the most sense for your customers and how you operate.
E2C charges a flat 1.99% transaction fee per sale regardless of payment method. Stripe and PayPal may also charge their own processing fees. Interac e-Transfer and cash on pickup have no additional processing fees beyond E2C's standard fee.
Buyers place the order without paying online. You arrange a pickup time, collect cash in person, and then mark the order as confirmed from your E2C dashboard. The buyer is automatically sent an order confirmation email.
