Which payment methods does E2C support?

E2C supports Stripe (credit and debit cards), PayPal, Interac e-Transfer (for Canadian sellers), and cash on pickup. Sellers can enable any combination of these from their store settings.

How does Interac e-Transfer work on E2C?

When a buyer selects Interac e-Transfer at checkout, they see the seller's Interac email address and the exact order total to send. Once the seller receives the payment, they manually mark the order as confirmed from their dashboard. There is no direct API connection with Interac.

Are there extra fees for accepting payments?

E2C charges a flat 1.99% transaction fee on every sale regardless of payment method. Stripe and PayPal may charge their own processing fees on top of that. Interac e-Transfer and cash on pickup have no additional processing fees beyond E2C's standard fee.

How does cash on pickup work?

When a buyer selects cash on pickup, they place the order without paying online. The seller arranges a pickup time and collects payment in person. The seller then marks the order as confirmed from their dashboard once payment is received.
